The James Lloyd Breck Society
James Lloyd Breck, for whom the school and this society are named, was a pioneering Episcopal priest in Minnesota during the nineteenth century.
The James Lloyd Breck Society, established in 2004, honors those who make gift commitments to Breck through their estate or financial plans, have shared that intention with Breck in writing, and have indicated their wish to be recognized as members of the JLB Society.
By the very nature of their forethought, leadership, and generosity, members of the James Lloyd Breck Society create an important legacy that has a ripple effect at Breck and beyond for generations to come.
Society members are vital to Breck's long-term financial stability, which in turn has an impact on every aspect of the work and future of the school. Their gifts support faculty, fund scholarships, and provide resources to sustain and create the innovative programs that have made Breck an independent school leader.
Breck is deeply grateful to our James Lloyd Breck Society Members.
